हेटौंडा - ५, पिप्ले निवासी रोशन बज्राचार्य बिगत ४-५ वर्षदेखी युएइ मा बैदेशिक रोजगारी गरिरहेका छन । छुट्टीमा नेपाल फर्किने क्रममा गत २८ अक्टोबर, २०१३ मा भारतको दिल्ली ट्रान्जिट हुँदै राती ११:०० बजे नेपालको त्रिभुवन अन्तरराष्ट्रिय बिमानस्थलमा ओर्लियो । त्यहाँबाट निस्कने बेलामा आफ्नो लगेज हेर्दा केबल लगेज मात्र थियो तर त्यहाँ भित्रको सबै सामान chori भइसकेको रहेछ । उसले त्यहाको कर्मचारी र प्रशासनमा पनि उजुरी गर्‍यो । त्यही क्रममा उस्को त्यहा केहीबेर भनाभन पनि भयो । पछी त्यहाको अधिकारिले उसैले जेलमा थुनिदिने धम्की समेटा दिएपछी लाचार भएर घर फर्किएछ । त्यहा रोशन जस्ता अन्य १०० जना पनि थिए । यो समस्या रोशन एकजनाको मात्र नभै दिनहु नेपालको बिमानस्थलमा आगमन गर्ने हजारौं नेपाली र बिदेशिहरुको साझा समस्या बनेको छ । यदी तपाईं घटनाको बारेमा बिस्त्रीत रुपमा जानकारी लिना चाहनु हुन्छ भने रोशन बज्राचार्यलाई ९८१६२९१७७७ मा संपर्क गर्न सक्नु हुनेछ । गहिरिएर बुझ्ने हो भने यो एउटा ठुलो समस्या हो, जस्ले विश्वमा नेपालप्रतिको नकारात्मक सन्देश फैलिने निश्चित छ । त्यसैले यस्ता घ्रिणित कार्यलाई निरुत्साहित र निर्मुल पार्न सम्पूर्ण क्षेत्र अझ बिशेषगरी मिडियाबाट सशक्त ढङ्गले दवाब दिनु निकै आवश्यक रहेको छ । नेपालमा जस्ले जहाँ जे गरे पनि "यहाँ यस्तै हो, कस्लाई भनेर के फाईदा हुन्छ र" भन्ने मनस्थिती राखेर सर्वसाधारण जनताहरु चुप लागेर बसेकोले नै यस्ता अराजकताले निकै प्रश्रय पाइरहेको छ । यदी यस्ताहरुको बिरुद्धमा सबैले कडा रुपमा प्रस्तुतहुने हो भने अवश्य पनि यो निर्मुल हुन्छ । आफ्नो लागि सबैले अन्तिम अवस्थासम्म लड्नु पर्छ । आवाज उठाउनु पर्छ । सशक्त बिरोध गर्नु पर्छ । यदी आज हामी चुप लगेर बस्यौ भने भोली हामी जस्ता धेरै फेरी फेरी पनि लुटिनै रहन्छन । बिदेश गएर धन कमाइ ल्याउला भन्ने ठुलो सपना बोकेर अहिले धेरै नेपाली युवाहरु बिदेशिएका छन आफ्नो श्रम र पसिना बेच्नको लागि । तर बिदेशबाट कमाएर ल्याएको सम्पत्ती, आफ्नो सामान आफ्नै देशको बिमानस्थलमा चोरिन्छ, त्यहाँ लुटिन्छ । रिपोर्ट गर्दा सम्बन्धित पक्षले उल्टै जेलमा थुनिदिने धम्की दिन्छ, मिडियालाई जानकारी गराउदा मिडियाले पनि "कुन चाँही नौलो खबर हो र, दिनहुको हो" भनेर बेवास्ता गर्छ भने यसबाट ती पीडित युवाहरु मानसिकतामा सरकारप्रती मात्रा होइन मिडियाहरुप्रती पनि अवश्य नै नकारात्मक छाप पर्नेछ । त्यसले राष्ट्रकै इज्जतसँग खेलवाड गरी प्रशासन र सुरक्षा संयन्त्रको धज्जी उडाउने यस्ता अराजक कृयाकलापको मिडियाले जोड्दारका साथ भन्डाफोर गर्नै पर्छ र गर्नुहुन बिनम्र अनुरोध गर्दछु । यस्ता अराजक गतिबिधीको देश र बिदेशमा बस्ने सबै नेपाली जनता हरुले आ-आफ्नो क्षेत्रबाट ब्यापक बिरोध गर्नुहुन हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछु । रोशन बज्राचार्य त एउटा प्रतिनिधि पात्र मात्र हुन । रोशन जस्ता हजारौं त्रिभुवन अन्तरराष्ट्रिय बिमानस्थलमा दिनहु लुटिने गरेका छन । आज रोशन लुटिएको छ, भोली तपाईं हामी या तपाईं हाम्रै आफन्त पनि नलुटिएला भन्न सकिन्न । आखिर कहिले सम्म चुप लागेर बसिरहने ? त्यसले यस् घटनालाई ब्यापक प्रचार गरेर यस्ता अराजक गतिबिधिको भण्डाफोर गरी निर्मुल पार्न सबैले योगदान दिउँ । धन्यवाद । [Source: BHandafor Abhiyaan]

Entry Category
A) Taken from Digital SLR Cameras
All photographs submitted under this category must be taken by high-tech gadgets (at least a mini DSLR).

B) Taken from Compact Digital Cameras or Mobile Cameras
Photographs submitted for this category can be of any type (mobile/ordinary digi-cam), provided it meets the requirements.

Terms and Conditions:
Entry is open to all the Nepali people and Foreigneers; provided they were present in Kathmandu during the festival (Evidence may be required).

Photos must be taken by the entrants themselves and it must be of this year’s Indrajatra.

---

The photo must reflect the aspects of the festival and its cultural importance. Using a good caption for photos is highly recommended and is compulsory.

---

Contestant must submit the Meta data along with the photo. (Only for Category A)

Digitally manipulated or cropped Photos will not be accepted.(Minor adjustments, including spotting, dodging and burning, sharpening, contrast and slight colour adjustment or the digital equivalents, are acceptable. But the entrant should mention this during the submission and submit the original file as well).

Pictures with watermarks will not be accepted.

---

Each participant can upload only 1 for each category (contestant can choose to replace their existing entry with a new photo and in that case, the old picture may be transferred to other albums of the page).

The organizer reserves the right to amend competition rules at any time.

The organisers have all the rights regarding the selection of the winner.

---

By entering the competition, the contestant will grant rights to the organizer to use the photographs for promotional use.

काठमाडौ, असार १३ - निजगढमा बन्ने एयरपोर्टको निर्माण र त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलको व्यवस्थापन एकै कम्पनीलाई दिने कसरत सरकारले थालेको छ । निजगढ विमानस्थललाई मुलुकको राष्ट्रिय गौरवको आयोजना भए पनि निर्माण सुरु गर्न नसक्नु र त्रिभुवन विमानस्थलको सुधार पनि प्राथमिकतामा परेको भन्दै एकै कम्पनीलाई दिने तयारी भएको नागरिक उड्डयन प्राधिकरण स्रोतले बतायो । 


'यसका लागि पहल गर्न लगानी बोर्डलाई पर्यटन तथा नागरिक उड्डयन मन्त्रालयले पत्र लेखिसकेको छ,' स्रोतले भन्यो, 'दुई अलग-अलग कम्पनीलाई दिँदा हुने प्रतिस्पर्धाबाट उत्पन्न समस्याले एउटाको काममा प्रभाव नपरोस् भनेर एउटै कम्पनीलाई दिने योजना बनाइएको हो ।' 

यसका लागि सरकारले भारतीय कुनै एक कम्पनीको छनोट गर्ने भएको छ । 'एउटै कम्पनीलाई प्याकेजमा दिइए त्यसको प्रतिफल गुणस्तरका हिसाबले राम्रो हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ,' स्रोतले भन्यो । 

सरकारको यो कदममा प्राधिकरणसमेत सैद्धान्तिक रूपमा तयार देखिएको छ । 'त्रिभुवन विमानस्थल सबैभन्दा बढी नाफामा छ । यसबाट सरकार तथा प्राधिकरण दुवैलाई राम्रो आम्दानी भइरहेको छ,' प्राधिकरणका एक उच्च अधिकारीले भने, 'भइरहेको आम्दानीका आधारमा हरहिसाब गरी पाइने राजस्वभन्दा बढी तिर्न तयार भए व्यवस्थापन दिन गाह्रो छैन ।' 

अहिले प्राधिकरणले विमानस्थलबाट वाषिर्क साढे ३ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी आम्दानी गर्छ । गत वर्ष मात्र प्राधिकरणले आफूले गरेको आम्दानीबाट १ अर्ब ८ करोड रुपैयाँ नाफा गरेको थियो । 'यो आम्दानीभन्दा बढी रकम प्राधिकरणले पाउनैपर्छ,' ती अधिकारीले भने । दुवै विमानस्थललाई एउटै भारतीय कम्पनीलाई दिनेबारे ५/६ पटक सम्बन्धित निकायका अधिकारीबीच छलफलसमेत भइसकेको स्रोतले बतायो । अन्तर्राष्ट्रियस्तरमै विमानस्थललाई उत्कृष्ट बनाउन निजी कम्पनीलाई जिम्मा दिने प्रचलन देखिएको छ । स्रोतका अनुसार यसकै आधारमा नेपालमा पनि गृहकार्य थालिएको हो । त्यसमा पनि प्राधिकरण आफैं नियमनकारी र सेवा प्रदायकको भूमिकामा रहेका समस्या देखिए पनि सही समाधान नआउने गरेकाले पनि सेवा प्रदायकको जिम्मा निजी कम्पनीलाई दिन खोजिएको अधिकारीले बताए । 

दुबै जिम्मेवारी एउटै निकायले लिएको विषयमा आइकाओले समेत प्राधिकरणलाई सचेत गराएको थियो । 'अहिले प्राधिकरणलाई दुई विभागका रूपमा छुट्टै बनाइए पनि काम गर्ने उही भएकाले खासै फरक नपर्ने अवस्था छ,' उनले भने । 

एडीबीले दिएको ऋण सहयोगमध्ये १ करोड डलर खर्चेर प्राधिकरणमा दुई अलग विभागको संरचना तयार गरिएको हो । 

यसअघि पनि विमानस्थल व्यवस्थापन भारतीय कम्पनीको जिम्मा दिने तयारी भएको थियो । त्यसबारे चौतर्फी विरोध भएपछि उक्त विषय त्यत्तिकै थन्किएको थियो । यसबारे सर्वोच्चमा मुद्दासमेत परेको थियो । त्यतिबेला भारतको आईएल एन्ड एफएस कम्पनीले यसको जिम्मा लिन चासो देखाएको थियो । उच्च अधिकारीका अनुसार अब यसका लागि जीएमआर कम्पनी पनि इच्छुक देखिएको छ । 

हाल विमानस्थलको विस्तारका लागि एसियाली विकास बैंक -एडीबी) को ऋण सहयोगमा काम भइरहेको छ । त्यस्तै प्राधिकरणले आफ्नै आर्थिक स्रोतबाट पनि आन्तरिक टर्मिनलतर्फ नयाँ पूर्वाधार निर्माणको काम थालिरहेको छ । प्राधिकरणले सरकारमार्फत ७ करोड अमेरिकी डलर -करिब ५ अर्ब ४० करोड रुपैयाँ) लिएको छ । एक अधिकारीका अनुसार विमानस्थलको जिम्मा पाउने कम्पनीले उक्त ऋणको जिम्मेवारी पनि लिनुपर्ने सर्त राखिने छ । यता पर्यटन तथा नागरिक उड्डयन मन्त्रालयले भने यस्तो कुनै पहल नभएको दाबी गरिरहेको छ । 

यसअघि भारतीय कम्पनी आईएल एन्ड एफएस कम्पनीलाई व्यवस्थापन दिने प्रारम्भिक छलफलका क्रममा सुरक्षा, भन्सार, अध्यागमन र हवाई नियन्त्रण -टावर) को जिम्मा सरकारकै हुने त्यसबाहेकको जिम्मेवारी बाह्य कम्पनीलाई दिइने बताइएको थियो

Indrajatra Photography Competition Results

After a long wait, the winner to the Indrajatra Photography competition 2012 has been finalised. The event started from 27th of september with an intention to promote our festival and culture world-wide and moreover, provide opportunity for thousands of Nepali currently staying abroad to enjoy the most beautiful moments of the festival.
The event was proudly sponsored by "Swoyambhu Banasthali Motors WorkShop", "Cannon Imaging School" and "New Snapper Photo".




After two months of voting time, the winner of this competition selected from the like category is Kapil Raj Khadgi with 1086 likes.

The other two winners selected by judge from category A and B are:
The winner from category A is Ayush Mananda Bajracharya
The winner from category B is Kaushal Hissaria.

The winners will be contacted through facebook and be advised, the instructions to collect the prizes.

We, the organiser, would like to thank all the people who supported this event by taking part in it and also to those who helped us promote, not only the event, but our festival and culture too. 

IndraJatra Mishap

Today is the first day of IndraJatra and according to at the time prescribed by the priests, the "Yosheen" was erected at around 9:30. But according to witnesses, as soon as the ropes, used to erect the yosheen, was left loose, the yosheen fell straight on the ground. With all the blessings of GOD, no one was injured and the yosheen was successfully erected again.
Following this event, we also recieved a news that while bringing the chariot of "Kumari dyo" out from the "dyo chenn", one of the "singha" was destructed, but was soon fixed by the locals and the military people.
I hope these are not signs of a bad omen and are just a co-incidence.
